Day 11: RETURN TO THE ALTAR

Theme: Thankful Hearts & Clean Hands
Scripture: Isaiah 57:15

“For this is what the high and exalted One says—He who lives forever, whose name is holy: ‘I live in a high and holy place, but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.’”

Devotional Thought

There’s something sacred about the altar — not the physical one we build, but the place in our hearts where we meet God.
It’s where we return to say, “Lord, I’m here again. I’m Yours.”

The same God who sits enthroned above creation also draws near to those who bow low. His presence isn’t attracted to perfection — it’s drawn to humility.
When we come before Him with thankful hearts and clean hands, we make space for revival to begin — not just around us, but within us.

Revival doesn’t start with noise, crowds, or moments. It starts quietly — when one heart says yes again.

When kings forget the altar, they lose their authority. When priests neglect the fire, the presence fades.
But when both return — when our worship meets His mercy — the flame burns again.

So today, we return.
Not to earn His presence, but to acknowledge it.
Not to impress, but to surrender.
And in that place of surrender, God breathes life again.

Prayer

Father, thank You for Your faithfulness.
Thank You for the moments You’ve met us at the altar before.
Today, we return — hearts open, hands lifted, ready for You.
Forgive us for the times we’ve let the flame grow dim.
Revive us again, Lord. Breathe fresh life into Your people and into Your church.
Let Your presence be our prize.
In Jesus’ name, amen.

Declaration

🔥 Before we reign as kings, we bow as priests.
I return to the altar today.
My heart is open. My hands are clean.
The fire burns again.
