Theme: Never Let the Flame Die
Scripture: Leviticus 6:12–13
“The fire on the altar must be kept burning; it must not go out. Every morning the priest is to add firewood and arrange the burnt offering on the fire and burn the fat of the fellowship offerings on it. The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out.”
Devotional Thought
Fire doesn’t keep itself burning.
It needs fuel. It needs care. It needs consistency.
God’s presence works the same way.
When the fire of the Holy Spirit ignites our hearts, it’s not a one-time moment — it’s an invitation to tend the flame.
Every act of obedience, every whispered prayer, every song of surrender adds wood to the altar.
When we stop showing up, the flame weakens — not because God left, but because we stopped feeding what He started.
As priests, we’re called to tend His fire.
As kings, we’re called to protect His vision.
When we do both — when obedience meets stewardship — the church becomes a place where God’s presence never fades.
The question isn’t, “Did God move?” The question is, “Did I keep the fire?”
Because His fire never runs out… it just waits for someone to tend it again.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for the fire You’ve started in my heart and in our church.
Teach me to tend it well.
Where my worship has grown quiet, reignite it.
Where obedience has slipped, realign me.
Make New Season Church a house where Your presence burns brightly — every day, in every heart.
Let Your flame never go out in us.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Declaration
🔥 Priests keep the fire. Kings protect the vision.
Today, I choose to tend the flame.
My obedience is fuel.
My worship is firewood.
Your presence will not go out in me.
