Scripture: Hebrews 13:15–16
“Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess His name.
And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”
Devotional Thought
The altar of worship didn’t disappear when the temple curtain tore — it moved inside of us.
Now, every word, every choice, every act of love or obedience becomes a living offering to God.
We no longer bring animals to sacrifice — we bring our will, our time, our affection, our service.
When you choose to forgive instead of staying offended, that’s worship.
When you show kindness when no one’s watching, that’s worship.
When you pause to thank Him in the middle of a busy day, that’s worship.
This is what it means to “offer continually.”
Not once a week, but in every ordinary moment that becomes holy when surrendered.
The altar is no longer made of stone — it’s made of surrender.
And when surrender meets His fire, true worship rises. 🔥
Meditation & Reflection
- What am I placing on the altar of my heart today?
- Have I turned any area of my life into worship?
- Where might God be inviting me to trade comfort for surrender?
Pause and invite the Holy Spirit to breathe on your altar again.
Prayer
Father, thank You that through Jesus, I have access to Your Presence every moment.
Teach me to live with a heart always on the altar — willing, surrendered, and filled with gratitude.
Let my words be a song, my actions an offering, and my life a reflection of Your glory.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Declaration
🔥 My heart is the altar, and His fire still falls.
