Our Vision
And Our Mission

Our vision is to be a place where people belong to a community of believers united under the name of Jesus Christ, a place where one is not judged based on their past but is pointed to a better future. Our vision is to help people walk into a New Season of their lives in Christ.

Our Mission to raise up strong leaders that will affect change in the world around them through the message of the Kingdom.

Worship

Your Identity In Christ

1. Salvation and Restoration

God’s plan for us was never to take us to Heaven. It was to establish a family of sons that will extend the Kingdom of Heaven to Earth. God gave us dominion, authority and the instruction to manage Earth (Gen1:26)

Adam messed up by placing himself under the authority of the devil by listening to the words of the enemy. By doing this, Adam placed himself, everyone after him, and all that was given to him, under the authority of the enemy. God needed someone that was blameless, without sin, to be substitute for us. To redeem us, to purchase us back and restore us back to our rightful place of sons of God.

We are saved, or restored, by believing and confessing that Jesus was the son of God, that he died on the cross and that 3 days later he was resurrected. (Rom 10:9)

The moment we do that we are in right-standing with God. He no longer looks at our faults and failures. We have been forgiven and restored! It is not by our effort, because our effort can never be enough. We are restored by God’s grace (unmerited favour) through faith – by simply believing and accepting the free gift of salvation.

Eph 2:8
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith

 2. Water Baptism

When we believe on Jesus and in the finished work of the cross , we now become followers of Christ, endeavouring to do all Jesus instructs to us and following his pattern for living.

Jesus instructed us to be water baptised. Water baptism is the act of be completely submerged under water. It is a representation of Dying with Christ (going down into the waters), being Buried with Christ (going under the water), and being Resurrected with Christ (coming out of the water) (Rom 6:5-11)

Rom 6:8
Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him.

Water Baptism was an instruction from Jesus. It is a powerful encounter with God, that signifies your new created life. The old things have gone and the new have come. The water baptism experience is about dealing with all the doubts and having a transformed life, because it is no longer you that lives but Christ that lives within you.

3. Holy Spirit Baptism

If the declaration of Jesus as son of God and water baptism is like your spiritual re-birth, then Holy Spirit Baptism is the like gaining the ability to talk and walk in the spirit.

The Holy Spirit is the one part of the trinity which is still active on the Earth today. Through the Holy Spirit we are empowered to be witnessed. We are also given power (dunamys) to live out the purpose of our life. When we are baptised in the Holy Spirit we are submerged in, completely enveloped by, the spirit of God.

Acts 1:8
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.

We receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit by grace, as a gift, through faith : By asking God to baptise us with the Holy Spirit. By asking God to baptise us with the Holy Spirit. When we are baptised we receive a spiritual language or tongue. This is given to us in order to communicate with God. It is given us to pray, to build up our faith.

We can not live effective lives without the Baptism in Water and without the Holy Spirit Baptism.
Both were an instruction from Jesus and both must be followed in order for us to be effective followers of Christ.

Connect

Partnering with us

1.Connect Through Church

We Connect to the community of believers – The church is God’s model to build community. It is the only place that unites based not on race, ethnicity, economic circumstances. The church builds community based on the finished work of Christ. Christ broke down every wall of separation. The church is the place God said we are to go to be rooted so that we can be raised up into mature Christians.

Heb 10:25
25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another,

It is important to connect to the church through:

– Weekly Sunday Services
This is the time we come to meet with God and hear what is on God’s heart for us. In the church we are built up as Christ followers. We are instructed, challenged and encouraged so that we can live our walk with God in the week. The church is the place God said we to go to so we can rooted so that we can be raised up into mature Christians. It is important to make church attendance as priority in our lives. Consistency is often the missing part to us seeing results in any area.

– Weekly Connect Groups
Connect groups serve as a place in between the weekly Sunday services where we can come around the word and connect with one another. . It is a place where we can go a bit deeper into the word of God. It is a place where are discipled and we learn how to disciple. Connect groups serve to make deeper connections with one another. We use Connect Groups to be better students of the Word and to pray.

2. Connect Through The Word

The Word is the very thing God speaks to us. It is alive, it is active and for us to have an intimate and fulfilling relationship with God we must know what He says. The Word is the very thing God speaks to us. It is alive, it is active. For us to have an intimate and fulfilling relationship with God we must know what He says.

We must be committed to reading, knowing and applying the Word of God.

2 Tim 2:15
…..rightly dividing the word of truth

We us the Scripture App to help us stay connected to the Word. It sets out a daily reading plan which we follow in order to read through the whole Bible in a year.

3. Connect Through Prayer:

Prayer is the way we communicate we God. It is the way we speak to God and the way He speaks to us. Through the baptism of the Holy Spirit we have a direct line to God. Prayer increases our faith. Prayer changes the spiritual climate so that we can walk in the promises of God. Prayer keeps things flowing.

1 Thes 5:17
17 pray without ceasing,

Our Connect groups focus on strong teaching, connecting as well as prayer. God instructs us to pray individually and corporately.

It is important connect by praying with other believers.

Serve

God has called us to be His servants. To pursue the kingdom of God first. To make the agenda and the welfare of Hid kingdom the number one priority.

Matt 6:33
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

There are 2 main ways God calls us to serve and support His kingdom:
1. Through Giving Of Our Time
2. Through Giving Of Our Finances

1. Giving Of Our Time

We support the kingdom of God by giving our time to purposes of His house, the church. Practically we do this by volunteering in a team in the church. God has given all of us talents and abilities that we can use to support and extend His kingdom.

When we give our time to the agenda of God, we placing His kingdom as a priority. God needs all of us to use our talents and giftings in order to establish His purpose.

Ps 35:27
Let the LORD be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.

2. Giving Of Our Finances

On of the ways we Honour God is by practically supporting His purpose. One of the ways we do that is by giving of resources to God’s house, the church. Like most things in the world, the church requires finances in order to be effective. Finances are required to effectively welcome new people into kingdom, to effectively teach Christ followers, to effectively teach and raise our children to be strong believers and to effectively reach our community.

God wants us to support His vision of the kingdom. He also wants to prosper us so that we can be effective change makers in our world.

The wonderful thing about God is that when we Honor Him, He honors us.

When we are faithful with the little that He has given us, He begins to expand our capacity and He adds to us and makes us rulers over much. Serving, through volunteering and giving our tithes and offerings, roots
us in the house of God. When we are rooted we shall flourish.

Luke 6:38
38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed
down, shaken together, and running over will be put into
your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.

Lead

God has called all of us to lead. To lead does not mean to have a fancy title. Leadership, in essence is, to have influence. When God created man, His vision for us was to have influence, dominion, authority over the world and the circumstances around us. He wants us to be vessels, conduits, through whom the standard, lifestyle of Heaven would be extended to Earth.

Jesus called us to be his disciples, His followers. And He gave us the same mission. To make disciples of others. To have influence, to lead others. To lead others into a greater relationship with God.

Each of us has been given the ministry of reconciliation. The work of bringing those that are far from God into closer relationship with Him.

The church is not a Sunday event, it is each of us using what God has given us to lead and influence those around us into a deeper relationship with God and in turn into the abundant life He has called us to.

We begin by leading ourselves first and then reaching out to those people God has placed in our lives. God wants to use you to saturate the Earth with His kingdom of righteousness, peace and joy.

Don’t delay, don’t be afraid. All God is looking for is people that are open and available to be used.

You have something that God needs to accomplish His purposes and extend His Kingdom!

Matt 28:18
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
